What will I receive in my pre event information?

When you apply online, you assign yourself into a shift which will be your position at the event.
 
If for any reason you can no longer make the event at any time in the process, it's essential that you withdraw as soon as you can via the Portal. This opens up the opportunity to an another Volunteer and makes sure we have a full team at the event
 
From 10 days out from the event, we will send you an email with everything you need for event weekend and a follow up at 3 days out from the event for weekend volunteers, including:
 
- A parking pass
- Last minute updates from the team once they have arrived on site and we have a good idea of the weather for the weekend
- Information about your Volunteer Manager                                                                                                                                                          - A copy of the volunteer waiver for you to print, sign and bring with you to the event

Check your emails regularly in case we have any emergency information you need to read. If you think you're not receiving any emails, you can log in to the Portal and look in your history which allows you to open all the emails we have sent you.
